TAGe (Talking Across Generations):
Youth Perspectives on the role of teachers

What’s a TAGe?
A TAGe (Talking Across Generations on Education) is a dialogue between young leaders and senior officials and policy makers. Organized by UNESCO and the Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP), the next TAGe will be held in Ottawa on March 8th, 2017, as part of the UNESCO Week for Peace and Sustainable Development.

Building on a global and multi-lingual online discussion that took place in the months leading up to the event, the March 8th dialogue will provide 35 inspiring young leaders and 15 policy makers, from across the world, with an equal opportunity to voice their opinion on the role of teachers in the 21st Century. Watch this event LIVE or participate via Twitter!

Young Canadians and members of CCUNESCO’s Youth Advisory Group will take part in this event, which will be moderated by Danika Billie Littlechild, CCUNESCO’s Vice-President.
