Current opportunities to get involved
The Canadian Man and the Biosphere Committee is responsible for the activities that make up Canada's contribution to the international Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB), in particular promoting the biosphere reserve concept. In advising the Canadian Commission for UNESCO (CCUNESCO), CC-MAB serves as a relay between the different institutions, organizations, ministries and departments concerned with the MAB Programme and UNESCO. CC-MAB shall also promote Canadian participation, whenever appropriate, in the sessions of the MAB International Coordinating Council.
CCUNESCO is looking for experts in environmental sciences and sustainable development (researchers, academics and other experts) and UNESCO MAB Programme experts interested in joining CC-MAB. Candidates should have knowledge of and expertise in the three functions of biosphere reserves: sustainable development, conservation of biological diversity, and education, learning and capacity-building.

2-Send your application to email@example.com by no later than December 2, 2016. This must include a cover letter (max 1 page) and a short biography/resume.
