The Canadian Commission for UNESCO relies on its partners, members and networks to further cooperation, peace, inclusion, gender equity and sustainable development in the realms of education, culture, communication and information, and the natural, human and social sciences. It facilitates the Memory of the World Register, World Heritage Sites, the Canadian Coalition of Municipalities Against Racism and Discrimination (CCMARD), and the Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB), which oversees the work of the Canadian Biosphere Reserves Network.
